Firnas Shuman was appointed as technical advisory to the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Co for the implementation of the 1,500 MW Benban solar PV park. In this role, Firnas Shuman was responsible for coordinating and reviewing all developer’s technical submissions, responding to developer’s technical queries, and ensuring technical compliance of all plants with the Egyptian grid code, solar grid code, PPA requirement and interconnection agreement requirements.

Supervision of all tests on PV Modules, megger tests of DC, AC & MV cables, VLF test, cold and hot commissioning of PCSs;
Supervision of civil works (site grading, installation of mounting structures, execution of roads, fence and O&M building);
Inspection and approval of all materials on site according to BoQ;
On-site coordination with contractors.
