Firnas Shuman team is requested to support the client with implementing and maintaining a Social & Environmental Management System (SEMS), follow up with the different platforms affiliated from the client and their E&S Consultants on different environmental assignments, i.e. ESIA, due diligence, etc. The goal of the assignment is to ensure that the client platforms apply their Environmental and Social Action Plan and prepare the annual environmental and social reports in accordance with international standards, i.e. IFC Performance Standards. The client platforms included in the assignment in Egypt are Egyptian Refinery Co. (ERC), Tawazon Waste Management, Nile River Transport.

Administer the contracts with the E&S consultants;;
Capacity building for the platform companies management;
Maintaining a digital library for all the relevant documentations and studies related to E&S performance of the platform companies;
Identify potential gaps with the SEMS and/or the relevant standards;
Qualify the employer for the international SEMS performance standards of donor agencies, e.g. IFC;
Report the status of the action plan to donor agencies, as applicable.
