Following several studies, a wind corridor has been identified in Pakistan which has led to a number of wind farms projects which are currently under development. The project consists of the construction, ownership and operation of a wind power plant which shall generate electricity to the national grid. Firnas Shuman is a part of the lender’s engineer team together with Sargent & Lundy. Firnas Shuman has been responsible for all in-country work on multiple 50 MW wind farms, from pre-financial close, including construction monitoring, and through to operations monitoring for the lenders.
