Junior Consultant - Consultancy Department

 

At Firnas Shuman, we provide clients with consulting and technical services to solve problems, create value and adopt solutions that mitigate negative impacts on people, profit and Earth. We have been involved in 10+ GW of power generation capacity in 30+ countries, working with project developers, multilateral development institutions, governments as well as private and public sector utilities. Our focus is mainly on renewable energy project development, yet we also recognize the correlation between energy, water and agriculture.
 

Job Description and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule, coordinate and monitor project activities with different stakeholders.
  • Research and analyze data from various sources to contribute to project deliverables.
  • Coordinate technical proposals for consulting tenders.
  • Interact daily with the project team and other departments.
  • Prepare deliverable reports, presentations and documents.
  • Handle technical queries/information requests from other departments.
  • Prepare for and attend meetings, prepare meeting minutes and action lists.
  • Control & keep records of important documents and references.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. degree in Engineering. M.Sc. is a plus.
  • 0-3 years of experience, preferably in an engineering or consulting environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English. German and/or French is a plus.
  • Good report writing skills.
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
